Best Positive Affirmations – My Favorite Motivational Quotes

Motivational quotes are part of my everyday life and also something I teach all of my clients. Helping them find the best positive affirmations gives me so much pleasure and satisfaction.

I always say they must surround themselves with positive affirmations, positive people and a positive outlook. This leads to a more positive, healthy life and perfect mind, body, balance.

One of my very favorite quotes is:

you wish to see in the world

Change The World

“Be the change you wish to see in the world”     Mahatma Ghandi

I am always sharing my quotes with my clients and on facebook and I thought it might be a good idea to share some of my favorite quotes in this post, perhaps you will share yours at the end in the comments. Nothing like having positive quotes surround your day.

President Roosevelt

There are some people that can see the negative in everything and therefore even a positive quote can be negative in their eyes.  Also, there are those who see a motivational quote as a demotivator because they think they cannot achieve and are not worthy or do not deserve.

Positive AffirmationsBeing true to yourself is the most important thing you can ever do.  If you cannot be true to yourself then others will not feel as though they can trust you or your judgment. Being positive and true is even better.

Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it.  Charles R. Swindoll

How do you react to feedback

It always seems impossible until it is done.  Nelson Mandela

The secret of getting ahead is getting started. Mark Twain

How often do you read or listen to positive affirmations or quotes?  You can change your brain so easily when you implement this into your daily schedule.

My favorite place to find mine is from Louise Hay she has been such an inspiration to me throughout my career and life.  She is in her 80’s and still writing and making videos on being positive and motivating.

IF you were motivated and inspired by these quotes please share them with others so they may benefit also.

These are not all of my favorite quotes but I would need pages and pages if I were to share them all.  It depends on the situation and my mood as to which affirmation or quote inspires and motivates me.

When you find something that works for you then keep it, be true to yourself always and if you liked my quotes then I would love you to share your favorite quote with me.  We can then motivate and inspire each other.

  1. Hi helenvella, thank you so much for sharing these inspiring quotes. These quotes will not only motivate me, definitely will motivate million of people around the world. Long story short, affirmation is the most important part in my life.

I always need such encouragement so I will come back for more quotes.
    Wish you always motivate!

    • Inspiring and Empowering is something I like to achieve with all my clients, family and friends. If this can be achieved using a few of these positive affirmations then it makes me very happy. Glad you enjoyed them and so glad you will be back. Thank you.

  2. These are great motivational quotes. I think my favorite is, “Life is 10% what happens, and 90% how you react.” This is so true, because the basis for being happy and feeling good is reacting positively to situations. I try not to be negative, or not to think or respond negatively. Makes my whole outlook better!

    • Yes that is a great quote and one that many people live by. Positive affirmations are so important to a good quality, healthy life balance.

  3. Hello Helen, wise words are good and sound nourishment for the soul, and hence the body.
Here’s one that I particularly like:

‘If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at will change’ – Dr. Robert Anthony.

    Thank you Helen.

  4. Helen,
Thank You for sharing your positivity!
Looking forward to hearing you speak at the Empowering and Inspiring event at Caudalie Spa this Sat. Feb 4. 🙂

  5. Hi, I think I really like the quote by Roosevelt about doing something different if what you are doing isn’t working. I will add this to my life, have tried already to do this. We keep butting our heads against the same wall! Much of what we do every day is to try doing the same old thing, e.g. weight loss and work patterns. This is now my new favorite!
Also, I want to stop trying to please everyone, as Viggo mentions. We go around in very ridiculous circles when we try to please everyone. Everyone has a different idea, so we would bounce from one opinion and course of action to another, never zeroing in on a steady path! This is fatal to success.
Unfortunately, I did not learn of some of these quotes as a young person and made some bad choices. I thought I was making great choices! So I need to change the way I look at things.
This site could help one who is attempting this.
So how do we stop looking at every motivational quote in a negative way? How do we take it in the right light and not think that we could not achieve what we are hoping for? I am a positive person and always have hope and great courage, but I so often feel that I will not gain ground, after the choices I have made! My favorite quote had been, “It will all come out in the wash!” I used it constantly, since it is one my elders had always used. I am not using this anymore, since I saw that this was often used to quiet a concern that needed to be dealt with full on. It is passive. Those who are passive will suffer great losses and failures! So I am my own example of stopping what I have always done, at least by thought.

Thanks for your thoughtful collection above! Lynne

    • If you always do what you have always done then you will always get what you always got 🙂 Thank you so much for your thoughts and your comments. Finding something that keeps your grounded could help your with your choices and also accepting your choices. Remember there is no right and wrong only experiences.

  6. Helen, great article, I love these quotes and a couple of my favourites on here, I am a big fan of Mark Twain, I love his kind of down to earth sense of things, but all of the people on here are inspirations to many folks around the world.

    Thank you…

    Neil

  7. Great website. I love the quotes. I have used some myself on face book. For me, I like to think of myself as a super positive person. First thought of the day upon waking. “Good morning God, thanks for my night, what do you have for me today?” My day is always good. I believe we must be lights to the world, so I shine on. Bless you for the positiveness of your website.

    • I appreciate your wonderful feedback and I am so pleased you start your day with a positive saying that sets you up for the day. Thank you for sharing.

  8. Hi Helen! I always loved positive affirmations yet I was not implementing them in my daily life enough until 3 months ago. And now I start to see some changes and I really do think that positive affirmations are very powerful.

My favorites affirmations that I have read in this article are:
“Both Poverty and riches are the offspring of thought”
“Fill your mind with thoughts of peace, courage, health and hope”
“Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it”
“It always seems impossible until it is done”

There are many quotes that I like but these 2 are some I use often:
“success comes to those who work long and hard enough”
“I believe in my ability to achieve my goals”

Wonderful and inspiring post Helen 🙂

    Cheers,
    Jp
