  1. These are all great ideas for relaxation. I have a terrible time getting myself to sleep at nigh. I am going to try the relaxation music. I don’t think that I have a lot on my mind, I just find it very hard to get to sleep and then to stay asleep. Great information!

    As a trader I have incorporated meditation into my daily routine in the past in order to gain better control of my emotions, however I haven’t in a while. I spent much of my time wondering if I was doing it right, really trying to concentrate on my breathing. I feel the use of music could definitely be a way to get more out the practice.

I had never thought about using music but it makes a lot of sense, as some music can be extremely relaxing. I am particularly stressed very early in the morning so I’ll try starting my day with some of the music you suggested!

    I also love to use guided meditation it ready helps clear the mind. when I try do it unguided the internal voice in my head starts to get in the way and I can’t go as deep as I want to.

  9. I made a new year resolution to meditate for at least 10 minutest at least 3 times per week. This is the best resolution I’ve ever had! I’ve always suffered from anxiety and I have felt so much calmer and more gracious over the past two weeks. Not to mention, more productive too!!! I downloaded Headspace app and the guided meditations have been great for a newbie like me!

  10. I am definitely trying to have more mindful meals. I remember when a few years ago I would eat and do not even remember what or when I actually did it.     • Being mindful is very important and being aware of what you are doing is even more important especially when it comes to eating.

    • I am glad you have found something that works, I work a lot with people with eating disorders and therefore wrote a book about emotional eating to help others. I also interviewed for my book someone with an eating disorder so was able to give first hand information and help also.
